Today is ROCK YOUR SCHOOL Day at Pillar Falls! This has been one of our favorite traditions for years, and today is sure to be full of surprises! We can’t give away too much just yet, but trust us… this is a day you DON’T WANT TO MISS!
Stay tuned for pictures and updates as the fun unfolds!

We had an incredible turnout from our local officers, and we can't tell you how much we appreciated their help keeping everyone safe. It was so nice to see them out visiting with our students and families and being part of such a fun morning.
We know they have plenty of other things keeping them busy, so the time and attention they gave our school meant a lot. Thank you, TFPD! We're lucky to have you in our corner!

We are so grateful for Mrs. Hulet and all she does to support our teachers and students at Pillar Falls. Thank you for sharing ideas, offering encouragement, helping us grow, and always being there when we need you.
We appreciate you and all you do to make Pillar Falls a great place to learn and grow!

Join us for Pillar Falls Elementary’s Annual Veterans Day Concert as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country!
The concert will be held Monday, November 16 at 6:30 PM at the John Roper Auditorium at Twin Falls High School.
Student performers in 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades should arrive 15 minutes early and are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. If they don’t have those colors, their best dress is perfect!
We hope you’ll join us for this special evening as we celebrate and honor our veterans.

Wear your Pillar Falls gear and help your class show the most school spirit! We’ll be counting to see which class has the most Pillar Falls gear on, so come ready to show your Pillar Falls pride and help your class take the win this month!

Join us on October 7th at Jason Kelly Park at 7:30 AM and walk to school with us! It’s always a fun way to start the morning, get a little fresh air, visit with friends, and head to school together.
We’d love to have a BIG group walking with us this year! Grab your walking shoes and meet us at the park!

It was so much fun to see our school filled with students and families, classrooms full of visitors, and everyone outside enjoying great food, beautiful fall weather, and time together.
We love seeing our school community come together like this. We really do have the BEST school family! Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fun night!
Reminder - There will be no school for students on Friday, September 18th. It's Data Day!

Join us for a fun evening with classroom visits, amazing displays of student work, family activities, and more!
Come see what our students have been learning and creating. This is a Family Night you won’t want to miss!

Dear TFSD Families and Staff,
In the wake of the Canyon West shooting on August 1, the City of Twin Falls is leading a community-wide effort to facilitate recovery and support our town.
As part of this initiative, the city has created a survey to better understand which supports and resources are most needed. As a community partner, the Twin Falls School District is sharing this survey and encourages all of our staff and families to take a few moments to complete it.

We remain committed to partnering with the City of Twin Falls throughout this restorative process to ensure our students, staff, and families receive the care and resources they need.
Thank you for your participation and ongoing support of our community.
Sincerely,
Twin Falls School District Administration

Pillar Falls Elementary is looking for a 3.75-hour Playground Aide to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position that fits nicely into the school day—especially if you have kids in school and want a schedule that works around theirs.
If you enjoy working with kids, being part of a fun school community, and spending a little time outside each day, we’d love to have you at Pillar Falls!

School is officially out for the long weekend! Just a quick reminder that there will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
We hope all of our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved three-day weekend. We can't wait to see everyone back in class refreshed and ready to learn on Tuesday, September 8!

Throughout our school this month, students have been learning about Wassily Kandinsky and exploring his colorful, imaginative style! From concentric circles to bold shapes, lines, and colors, our students took inspiration from Kandinsky and then put their own creative spin on what they learned.
Here are just a few samples of the amazing Kandinsky-inspired artwork created throughout our building. We love seeing how the same artist can inspire so many different ideas at every grade level!
Our school really IS a work of art! ❤️🎨

☀️ Heads up, TFSD families!
Don't forget that this coming Friday, September 4, is an early dismissal day for all students and staff as we head into the holiday weekend.
There will also be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. Enjoy the extra sunshine and have a safe, relaxing long weekend! 👋
