My name is Kerrianne Burch, and I have been teaching in the Twin Falls area since 2009 after moving here from Arizona. I graduated from Brigham Young University, Provo in 1999 with my degree in Elementary Education and promptly took the subsequent 10 years off to bear and raise five children. My husband of 25 years is my MVP, supporting me in all ways when it comes to my teaching. I am thrilled to be back in the classroom, teaching and especially love sharing my experience in technology, music, and movement into my lessons and classes.  I have taught 4th grade, Kindergarten, First grade and most recently, I transitioned to teaching K-5 Music in 2019 and have enjoyed it immensely!  I love coming to work everyday, and work with a great staff here at Pillar Falls.

Hello I am Mrs. Enders and I have been working  for the school district for 11 years now. My family and I moved to Twin Falls 12 years ago from Kansas City when my husband was hired on by St. Luke’s as a Hospitalist.  I received my Bachelors degree in Kansas City in Elem. Education with a emphasis in Reading before moving to Twin. I have taught 2nd grade for 6 years, then 5th grade for 4 years and now I am back teaching 2nd.  I have 4 beautiful daughters and a beloved dog named Nala. Our family enjoys white water rafting, hiking and all things Disney.

I am so excited to be working with the Pillar Falls community this year. I graduated from BYU-Idaho with an elementary education degree in 2009. I quickly got a job teaching 6th grade and loved every minute of it. After four years of teaching, I took some time at home raising my four kiddos. In 2020 I reentered the profession. Outside of school I enjoy taking piano lessons, reading, crossfit, and spending time with my family.

Thanks for stopping by! I am so lucky to have your student in my class this year!

This will be my 13th year as an educator. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho and graduated from Boise State in 2009. I taught for 10 years in the Boise School District. In 2021, we decided to move to Twin Falls and we have loved our new community so far! My wife (Brenley) and I have 2 amazing littles at home, Easton and Hattie. We love all that Twin Falls has to offer, but we definitely enjoy getting out of town as often as possible. Traveling is a big passion for us! When we aren’t journeying to various parts of the country, we enjoy watching sports (Go Broncos!), reading a good book, hanging out with family and friends and getting outside to play!

My wife and I are both teachers and have a passion for teaching. We love a good conversation about education and are eager to help kids grow in all areas!

My name is Anita Kjar – pronounced “care”.  I am moving from the Boise area and excited to be here.  I have taught Special Education for over 13 years, and love it!  I also enjoy reading, swimming, cooking and traveling.  I am married with 5 beautiful children, all of whom are married and have given me 11 and one half grandchildren, the one half to be born at the end of August, so that is really not one half, but more like eleven twelfths 🙂  We have lived in Utah, Lousianna and Virginia and traveled many places around the world. I spent my middle school and high school years in Burley, where my parents still live, and even lived in Twin for my 1-4th grade years (attending Lincoln & Bickel Elementary), so this is a little like coming home.

Counseling

Hi, my name is Jenny Shaw and I am the Pillar Falls Counselor. I transitioned from elementary teaching to elementary counseling in 2016 and have loved the move ever since.  Working with individual students and whole classes is a wonderful opportunity to help our younger generations with coping skills, self-regulation, and social skills. I truly love working with my Pillar Falls’ students, families, and staff. When I am not at work, I love playing video games, camping, and working in my yard. I love spending time with my family and doing all things families do together. A future goal of mine, is to have a therapy dog that I can work with at school to help young students with calming strategies and relieving stress. One of my favorite quotes is from Winnie the Pooh, by A.A. Milne; “Promise me you’ll always remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.”
