Our second graders have been hard at work in STEM. This month they have been understanding and applying their knowledge about magnets and magmatism. First, they created Mazes made from sticks or straws to see how magnets repel and attract other magnets by manipulating them through their maze. They went further my making magnetic slime to see how many ways they can manipulate this substance by using various sizes of magnets. It’s been an amazing science adventure for them.
